Welcome to the art of paper making and its limitless possibilities.
Our paper is for those who are fond of out-of-the ordinary objects and are demanding in terms of finishing touches, willing to spend extra to get something quite original. Those who buy our products are also people who love nature and like to be reminded of it while looking at our paper.
Our handmade paper is stronger, more beautiful and more versatile than industrial papers. It offers a great variety in texture and colour, depending on the fibres that are used, such as cotton rags, straw, jute, hibiscus, rice husks, and plantain fibre. It is decorated with leaves, flowers, and seed pods. Nature herself is the artist, the paper itself provides its own unique design and every item is slightly different in colour and design as it is individually made by hand.
Our ecologically sound handmade paper is made only from vegetal fibres. It is free from toxic substances and its manufacture does not require the felling of trees. Most writing paper sets have print capabilities using an inkjet or laser printer.
Our paper products are
created and manufactured, in a wonderful city in the South of India, by a company which employs more than 60 workers, mostly women, who come from neighbouring villages. They are given training and made sensitive to ecological concerns and a greater appreciation of nature's beauty. Creative capacities are encouraged in an atmosphere of constant learning and striving for perfection.
In accordance with Indian Law, the company does not employ child labour and provides all the benefits and facilities their employees are legally entitled to.
